River Yealm Boatwatch welcomes new Team Leaders; fellow boatwatch patrol members; and anybody seeking to support boatwatch activities. The boatwatch community is comprised of  volunteers with a wide variety of ages and interests who are committed to maintaining a safe and secure boating environment with a minimum level of marine crime, both on the water and along the shore.
If you would like to take part in a boatwatch patrol – even just once for the experience – then arrangements can be made for you to join a patrol.  The patrol can be during the day, or night; and either shore-based or water-borne. Many Team Leaders started out by going on a boatwatch patrol, and then decided it was worthwhile and something that they enjoyed.
