River Yealm Boatwatch is a voluntary organisation that is supported entirely by donations. Each year it – just about – manages to collect sufficient donations to cover the cost of insurance, and invest in new or replacement equipment.
Lots of small donations go a long way. The Harbour-Master has a Collecting Box in his office; and boatwatch patrol members will put any donations in the box.
